I was truly impressed by Gabriel Orozco's show at MOMA, but particularly, the piece where he is pressing fresh clay in his hands, opening and showing the shape of a heart in front of his body. It's so great, so visceral and so real. http://4.media.tumblr.com/grgM9l4yckqnyzt1MlQ2rLvYo1_500.jpg
Last week I picked up this piece of wire from the road and thinking of that beautiful piece I wound it around to form of a heart. Which happens to be one of the symbols that I keep using over and over again. Why? I am not sure.
